RANDY BURCH
BIOGRAPHY

Never before has there been an “Impressionist” who can pay homage to so many Superstars, with so many “Entertainment Formats”!!!

‘Commander Joseph W. Clark

I guess you could say that growing up, Randy Burch was more impressionable than the average child because if he liked a singer on the radio, he tried to do an impression of them!  That all started when Randy was 5 years old.  He wanted to be Ricky Nelson so bad that he let his teenage sister talk him into “lip-syncing” to a Ricky Nelson record for his father’s company’s Christmas Party, held once a year in a union hall above a storefront in downtown Long Beach, California.  It was a Christmas Party “Talent Contest” that Randy entered two years in a row, finishing 2nd the first year and “winning it all” the second year!  This exposure to performing in front of a live audience was something that would stay with him for the rest of his life.  Even in adulthood, while trying to make a living at this and that.  Randy has always remembered the special feeling that entertaining people had given him.  While Randy enjoyed the music of the Beatles and the rest of the “British Invasion”, it was Dean Martin that Randy would imitate around the house as a 12 year old.  Then came the fascination with the rest of the “rat Pack”, Frank Sinatra, and Sammy Davis Jr.  Although not together on the same stage at the same show, these three performers were to be the acts that Randy talked his parents into taking him to see in person at the Sands Hotel and the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas.  These three performers, along with Elvis and Ricky Nelson, were imprinted into Randy’s mind, heat, and soul at a young age and forever!

Due to the highest level of recognition, and the inspiration of his sister who was and still is a huge fan of  the “King”, Randy chose to foray into entertainment by imitating Elvis Presley.  Over a period of a few years, Randy began to work on his other impressions, first by doing some Frank Sinatra publicly for the first time, then a little Dean Martin was added.  The shows that Randy offers today are filled to the brim with the memories of the wonderful and legendary entertainers that once graced the stages of Las Vegas, as well as some entertainers such as Neil Diamond, Englebert, Tom Jones, and many more who are still entertaining thousands of people today.
